Wroclaw in detail

If you’re interested in the history of the Jews of Wrocław, I invite you to join me on a tour filled with emotion, remembrance, and discovery. I’ll share the fascinating—and at times painful—history of this community, from its beginnings in the 10th century to the present day.
During the tour, I’ll show you the only synagogue that survived Kristallnacht in 1938—the White Stork Synagogue. When there are no Jewish community ceremonies taking place, you’ll be able to go inside and explore this place, which is full of symbolism and spirituality.
I’ll also take you to the site where the New Synagogue once stood, destroyed that very night, and we’ll pause for reflection at the spot from which deportations to the extermination camps were organized during World War II.
The Old Jewish Cemetery, with its tombs transformed into true works of art, is located outside the city center. For this reason, it is included only in the extended version of the tour, which lasts approximately 4 hours.
